What is a Rematee Bumper Belt?

Rematee's bumper belt is a one-of-a-kind positional device used to treat snoring and sleep-related breathing disorders. Over 2,000 Sleep-Doctors recommend Rematee to their patients as an alternative to other treatment options, or to be used in conjunction with CPAP machines and/or anti-snore mouth guards and oral appliances. If you have ever been shoved or elbowed by your partner to get you to roll over onto your side while you are snoring on your back, then you know that our bumper belts will work for you!

What is Snoring? What is Sleep Apnea? How can I stop snoring?

Over half of all people over the age of 50 snore. Snoring happens when your airway collapses onto itself. The back of your throat will then vibrate and cause the loud sound of snoring. In some cases, the airway closes up completely, and the sleeper stops breathing. This is called sleep apnea (also spelled "sleep apnoea"). Most often the sleeper will wake up gasping for air, but sleep apnea can also be deadly. Snoring and sleep apnea lead to decreased oxygen levels in the blood, and sometimes brain damage, high blood pressure or heart failure. It is also believed to lead to Alzheimer's and other diseases. The most common treatment for sleep apnea and snoring is using a CPAP machine, which can cost thousands of dollars, and requires regular maintenance. Positional therapy alone can often be enough to treat mild to moderate cases of sleep apnea.

How Rematee Works

The Rematee bumper belt is a positional therapy option. The inflatable bumpers on the back of the belt will keep you sleeping on your side. This counteracts gravity and prevents your airway from collapsing. By sleeping on your side, you will stop snoring. Positional therapy is the least invasive, most comfortable, and most affordable anti snore solution.
